TANBARK TRAIL COTTAGE

Located on the lower level of a unique Big Sur retreat shared by a group of close friends, this cottage, built in 2000, was designed with the same architectural intention Charles Lloyd envisioned for the main house and artist loft. While it echoes the clean lines and craftsmanship of the other buildings, its softer color palette introduces a lighter, more serene atmosphere. To maintain this aesthetic, we sourced furnishings in gentler hues and textures that enhance the cottage’s calming energy and welcoming vibe.
